Our Water & Sewer Certification Services
We prepare applications for residential, commercial & industrial projects, small subdivisions and changes of use, prepare infrastructure charges notices, and preapare applications for certificates of completion.
NEW WATER & SEWER APPLICATIONS
(BUILDINGS)
Apply for your new building water & sewerage connection once you have lodged your application with Council or if you have an existing approval. This relates to Material Change of Use applications or Accepted Development (where no DA is required i.e. for some duplexes)
NEW WATER & SEWER APPLICATIONS
(LAND)
Apply for new minor infrastructure connections for subdivisions. A minor connection is one where there is no trunk infrastructure required (such as the extension of network pipes).
CERTIFICATE
OF
COMPLETION
A Certificate of Completion is a common requirement for development approval and a normal requirement prior to the commencement of a new use, sealing a survey plan or registration of new titles.
CHANGE TO EXISTING APPROVAL
(WATER & SEWER)
Assessment and approval is required when a site already has a water & sewerage approval but requires alteration that may include changes to conditions or to suit amendments to the ‘higher order’ planning or subdivision approval.

Philip has over 30 years experience in the development industry in both town planning and engineering fields. He has worked in State and Local government as well as various consultancy positions. His broad range of experience has resulted in successful development outcomes for major residential unit developments, retirement villages and subdivisions, commercial and industrial developments. Philip is also the Director and Owner of Water Connections which has been accredited by Unitywater to assess and approve water and sewerage applications in parts of South East Queensland. Philip is an Accredited Certifier with an extensive amount of experience in this field.
